Celebrate Strong Women. March is Women's History Month.
Sometimes I dream myself into Grandma’s house and dwell there until I wake. The old farmhouse has low 7 foot ceilings throughout. All the rooms are very small at Grandma’s house and as you go from room to room you need to watch your step up or down because each room was added on separately over time as could be afforded.
In my dreams the land is covered with trees again. The blackberry bushes grow wild and they are plentiful. The orchard grows beside the house just like it all was when Grandma was still living there. After Grandma passed away, man turned the land into a trailer park complete with several new roads tearing through the once peaceful land.
But in my dreams Grandma and I still sit on the porch with buckets between our legs, snappin green beans, shuckin corn, and we look out across the beautiful land and see the old ways. It is possible to hear the old ways whispering. The grandmothers still speak. You can hear them when you are quiet and open to receive wisdom. Today people refer to nature as “it.” The old ways tell us that animals, plants, all of nature under the sky is brother and sister to us. We are all part of one another, all to be respected.

hello folks! Sarah and I are back from amazing romantic alchemical mystery
Portugal performances visits travels trip. what a trip it was! life changing.
in Kentucky it's raining new Portuguese poems.
Sarah and I are swamped beyond the swamp yes we're now crossing the desert the
beautiful cactus spring flower filled desert blooming cactus here there everywhere.
where are we headed? everywhere, at once.
if you're travelin with us you better hold on cause wherever we GO it's always a
wild ride a delicious adventure. the mystery called life is fun!
turning our attention now working non-stop round the clock on new recording writing performance and film projects.
Sarah is working on two new albums.
Sarah and I working on new christmas album.
plus. we're recording new album with Frank Messina and Tyrone Cotton.
I'm fine tuning my new book.
we're working with director Aaron Hutchings finishing up the independent feature film RED VELVET CAKE.
all these projects will be released this year, 2007.
and yes we're working on several other projects.
