hello family and friends! come visit my new art gallery apartment. new door sign reads:

admittance, 1.5 liter bottle red wine per person
i'm covering all walls thruout apartment with photos (from my entire life childhood to now), posters (i've produced over 300), paintings, and more plus hanging tea bags from the ceilings. the carpet is stained but who cares. not me. i grew up on a farm. down on the farm everything was stained. my life is stained. so entirely appropriate for my carpet to be stained. but it is clean.
and. if any of you from cross the country cross the world happen to be passin thru well know that you got a place to crash, an oasis on your journey.

oh. big news is that i'll be doing a 2 month, May 1st to June 30th, performing tour of Europe: Iceland, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, England, Scotland, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, and Greece. my longtime dear friend Dr. Nanine Henderson gifted me roundtrip airfare from Louisville to Amsterdam so I can give Europe performances promoting my new (& old) books and cds. more to come on this tour. if you're interested in booking a show or shows for me or with me let me know.
plus. from September 6th to 9th i'll be visiting my longtime dear friend and touring performing recording partner Frank Messina in NYC. Frank (Mets Poet Laureate) is taking me to a Mets game. plus I'll be meeting many old and new friends. i'm also reading at Annual Howl Fest. the new Frank Messina & Ron Whitehead WALKING HOME CD will be released in October & November. more to follow on release concerts.
plus. LIPS 2, The London International Poetry & Song Festival, will be a Happening October 27th to 30th at the historic Marquee Club in London England . my longtime dear friend Richard Deakin is producing the festival. i'm helping him and will be staying at his lovely London home.
